“Roma” é o grande vencedor dos prémios Bafta 2019

“Roma”, do mexicano Alfonso Cuarón, foi hoje o grande vencedor da 72.ª edição dos prémios Bafta do cinema britânico, triunfando em quatro categorias, entre elas a de melhor filme e de melhor realização.

“Roma”, além de melhor filme e melhor realização, venceu ainda na categoria de melhor filme de língua não inglesa e melhor fotografia. A cerimónia dos British Academy of Film and Television Arts realizou-se no Royal Albert Hall, de Londres.

O filme “A Favorita”, do grego Yorgos Lanthimos, foi o que arrecadou maior número de prémios, sete, entre eles o de melhor atriz principal.

Entre os prémios para “A favorita”, Olívia Colman foi distinguida como melhor atriz e Rachel Weisz recebeu o prémio de melhor atriz secundária. O filme levou ainda prémios como o de melhor guião original e melhor filme britânico.

O prémio de melhor ator foi para Rami Malek, no filme “Bohemian Rhapsody”, e Mahershala Ali foi considerado o melhor ator secundário, pelo papel no filme “Green Book”. O prémio revelação distinguiu a atriz Letitia Wright, pelo papel no filme “Black Panther”, e “Free Solo” ganhou na categoria de documentário.
