A Academia de Artes Cinematográficas dos Estados Unidos revelou esta segunda-feira os nomeados da 93.ª cerimónia dos Óscares. Os filmes Mank, Os 7 de Chicago, Minari e Nomadland são alguns dos que concorrem à categoria de Melhor Filme.
Esta segunda-feira, numa sessão dividida em duas partes, a atriz e produtora Priyanka Chopra Jonas e o cantor, compositor e ator Nick Jonas, revelaram os nomeados às 23 categorias dos prémios, a partir de Londres.
One Night in Miami, Judas and the Black Messiah e Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom foram alguns dos filmes que mais nomeações receberam, num ano marcado pela luta contra a desigualdade racial. A estes, juntam-se os candidatos a Melhor Filme: Mank, Os 7 de Chicago, Minari, Nomadland, The Father, Promising Young Woman e Sound of Metal.
Este ano, a cerimónia dos Óscares foi adiada para muito mais tarde que o habitual, devido à pandemia de Covid-19. Juntamente com a data, também o prazo de elegibilidade dos filmes, relacionado com a data de estreia nas salas de cinema norte-americanas, foi alterado: estendeu-se até ao dia 28 de fevereiro, mais dois meses do que a habitual data de 31 de dezembro.
